Cookie Policy
Short version: we use one cookie. It's analytics-only, it tells us nothing personal about you, and you can say no.
Last updated: June 2025
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file saved to your browser when you visit a website. Some cookies are essential (they keep you logged in), others are optional (they help website owners understand how their site is being used). We only use the optional kind with your permission.
The one cookie we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics - counts visitors and page views | 2 years |
This cookie is set by Google Analytics (GA4) and lets us see aggregate information like how many people visited, which pages are popular, and roughly where visitors are from. We cannot identify individual users through it. IP addresses are anonymised by default in GA4.
What we do not do
- ×We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies.
- ×We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
- ×We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
- ×We do not load any third-party marketing scripts.
Your choices
When you first visit SBIN, we ask whether you're happy for analytics cookies to be set. If you decline, no cookie is placed and Google Analytics does not run. Your choice is saved in your browser for future visits.
To change your mind, clear your browser's local storage for this site (in your browser settings under "Cookies and site data") and we'll ask again next time.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics entirely using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
